Sue and Johnsy were both artists. They had a studio(工作室) in Greenwich Village. They painted together and had a lot of fun.

In November, the weather was very cold and windy. Johnsy was seriously ill with pneumonia(肺炎). Sue took care of her.

One, two, three, four, five...

Five what, dear? What are you counting?

I am counting the leaves. When the last ivy leaf falls I must go too...

Sue had to work. She asked Mr Behrman to be her model. Mr Behrman was a poor, old painter.

Nonsense(胡说)!

Johnsy said that when the last leaf falls, she would die too.

That night, a big storm blew all night. When morning came, Johnsy asked Sue to pull the shade up(打开百叶窗), and there was still one leaf left!

It’s the last one. I thought it would fall last night. I heard the wind.

The next morning, Johnsy asked Sue to pull the shade up again. To her surprise, the leaf was still there.

I am wrong. I should be as strong as that leaf!

The leaf gave Johnsy hope, and she slowly got better. But Mr Behrman died of pneumonia. He painted the leaf on the wall during the storm!

为了纪念老贝尔曼,琼希和苏一起在他的“杰作”旁刻了一块纪念牌,向人们讲述这幅画背后感人的故事。请根据故事情节,将内容补充完整。
