My Favourite Book（1）

My favourite book is a fairy tale. Its name is The Ugly Duckling（《丑小鸭》）. The  story begins with a swan egg mistakenly（错误地） hatching（孵化） in a duck’s nest. Because the ugly duckling looks so different from other ducklings， he has no friends.

The ugly duckling is very sad and he runs away. Then he is saved by an old man in cold winter， but his children always run after him. So the ugly duckling runs away again. Spring comes secretly. The ugly duckling wakes up. He grows into a beautiful swan！

The story tells us that we don’t need to care much about other people’s prejudice（偏见）. We should focus more on self-growth（自我成长）. This is my favourite book. What is your favourite book？
