A Shopping Story to Remember

Last Sunday I went shopping alone. “Excuse me，do you need a watch？” A young man in front of me showed me an electric watch， small in size， elegant in appearance（外观优雅）.

“Let me have a look.”

“It costs 15 yuan， but you can have it for 10 yuan.”

“It looks very nice， but I only have 5 yuan.” And I prepared to leave.

“Deal（成交）.” He agreed. So I gave him 5 yuan and got the watch. The man disappeared into the crowd.

On my way back home， I was pleased with my first and perfect bargaining（讨价还价）. When I got home， I tried to start the watch. No matter how hard I tried， it refused to work. It was broken！

I will never go shopping alone again.
