Siqi loves ants. She reads about ants. She watches antsoutside. She even has her own ant farm（蚂蚁工坊）. In a bookabout ants， Siqi reads“Ants have three body parts， head， thorax（胸）， and abdomen（腹）.”

“I will see if all ants are the same，”Siqi thinks.“If allants have three body parts， they should all be equal（相同的）.”Scientists do tests to see if their beliefs（观点）are true. So Siqidoes a test.

First， she chooses a notebook. Next， she watches the ants in herant farm. Then， she writes what she sees. Qiqi is surprised. The antsare not equal.“I need to reconsider（重新考虑） my belief，”Siqisays，“Why is one ant bigger than the rest？”

Siqi looks in a book. It has the answer. The biggest ant is thequeen（蚁后）！ Siqi likes doing tests.
