The Swallows, the Spring, and the Hope

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic， thenew term of my Grade Three was so special.Instead of studying at school， we stayed at homeand took classes online.

My first online lesson was Chinese. The textwas Swallow（《燕子》）. At first， my teachershowed us a fantastic video of swallows. I sawsome swallows flew around in the blue sky. Theirfeathers were black and shiny. Their wings werebeautiful and light. It reminded me of thecoming of spring. I couldn’t wait to open thewindow and enjoy the beauty of spring.

I like swallows very much and I even hopeto fly freely in the sky like them. What’s more，I hope the pandemic will end soon so that I cango outside and see more lovely animals.
