Storks逗鸟外传：萌宝满天飞

在欧洲，人们把白鹳（white stork）称为送子鸟。相传，送子鸟落到谁家屋顶造巢，谁家就会喜得贵子，幸福美满。动画片《逗鸟外传：萌宝满天飞》（Storks）就是以这个传说作为故事原型，并加入了充满创意的现代生活元素，为我们讲述了一个充满家庭温情的欢乐故事。

内特（Nate）是个独生子，他的父母总是忙于工作而无法陪他，他心里感到很失落。一个偶然的机会，他从阁楼里翻到一张鹳速递服务公司（Stork Delivery Service）的“ 送子服务”宣传单。于是，他按照宣传单的指引写了一封“ 求弟弟”的信寄去公司。公司的“ 最佳快递鹳”朱尼尔（Junior） 突然被老板亨特（Hunter）提拔，条件是要他解决掉公司以前遗留下来的一个孤儿的棘手问题。孤儿叫小郁（Tulip），是因为送子意外而被迫留在鹤速递服务公司长大的人类，她给公司制造了很多麻烦。故事就从小郁制造的新麻烦开始，讲述了一场惊险的送子冒险之旅。最后，内特的父母终于明白了家人相伴的意义，小郁也找回了自己的家，朱尼尔则弄明白了当年“ 送子服务”的真正意义，让公司业务重回正轨。

Scene A

这天，内特跟父母一起开车外出。在遇红灯停车时，内特看到旁边车子里有三个小朋友。其中一个小男孩对他的弟弟说了一番话。

Boy： I love you， brother. It’s like we’re best friends thatlive together！

看到此情此景，内特突然想到了一件事，打断了正在打电话的父母。

Nate： Mom， Dad， I’ve decided（ 决定）I want a baby brother.

Mom： Oh， honey（宝贝）， can you ...

Dad： Can you hold on（保持通话状态）one second？

Mom： Oh ... Um ...

Dad： I think we’re fine as a family of three.

Nate： Why can’t I have one？ Let’s make this easy. Where do you get one？ Why are you laughing and not answering me？Where did you get me？ What is the joke？

Dad： Is there a different subject（话题）？

Nate： Okay， so there’s a super weird（怪异的）vibe（气氛） in this car right now.

Mom： Oh， honey， this is very sweet.

Dad： But we have you. And that’s all we need.

Mom： That’s right.

Scene B

内特在阁楼里翻到一张宣传单，从中得知可以通过写信申请一个宝宝。于是他冒充自己的父母写了一封信。

Dear Stork Delivery Service（鹳速递服务公司），

Our adult（成年人）names are Henry and Sarah. We are adult parents of an absolutely（绝对地） perfect（完美的） son named Nate. He really deserves（ 值得） a baby brother. As adults， it is our adult belief（信念） that it would be irresponsible（不负责任的） if this baby did not have ninja skills（忍术）.

Dad： Nate？ What？ Nate？ Hey there， buddy（伙伴）. Whatcha doin’here？

Nate： I’m preparing（准备）.

Dad： Right， you’re preparing. For what？

Nate： To get my baby brother from the storks.

Dad： Right. Hey， I love that your school encourages（ 鼓励）imagination（想象力） over actual（实际的） learning， but the storks don’t deliver anymore.

Nate： I know.

Dad： They haven’t done that in， like，forever.

Nate： Dad， you don’t have to help me at all. This is a guilt-free（无愧疚感的）pass（通行证） for you to go back inside and work.Just go. Go. Go.

Dad： What？

Nate： Shoo（嘘）， shoo， Dad. Go.

Dad： Okay， all right. Fine.

内特表面上装出无所谓的样子，但爸爸才一转身，他便开始小声抱怨。

Dad： What was that？
