The Changes of the Climate

Nowadays， the Earth’s climate is changing. Every year in the future， we may have to encounter（遭遇） challenges like droughts and sea level rising.

Worldwide， the heat of this summer dried up many rivers. Glaciers（冰川） melted and flowed into the sea. This summer， my hometown， Nanjing， was very hot. The cicadas didn’t sing. Trees died in the scorching heat（酷暑）. The street cats were desperate for rain. We all stayed in our houses， turning on the air conditioners. How about the next summer？

We have to introspect（反省）. We can’t take too much from Earth because natural resources（自然资源） are limited. If we don’t learn the lesson， in the future， more creatures and plants will vanish（灭绝）. It’s time to stop the terrible changes！
