Goldfish Hide1 and Seek2和金鱼捉迷藏

Today was the school carnival3.Jimmy was excited. He wanted to win aprize4 at the game table.

Jimmy went to Mr. Ames.“Hello，there！ ”called Mr. Ames. He was theschool music teacher.“Would you like totry my game？ Just toss5 a small ball intoone of these fishbowls6 to win a prize.”

Jimmy took three small， white ballsin his hand. He tossed the first ball hard.It went to the ground. “Not too hard，”said Mr. Ames.

Jimmy tossed the second ball verylightly7 into the air. It still went down tothe ground. Another miss. Now he wasdown to his last ball. He tossed the ball，and this time it went into the fishbowl.

“You win！ ”said Mr. Ames. He pickedthe fishbowl up and took out the ball.“I’llkeeptheball，butyoucanhavethefishbowl.”

When Mr. Ames handed Jimmy thefishbowl， he could see a bright orange fishswimming very fast.

Wow！ I’ll name her Golda，”saidJimmy. The goldfish looked right atJimmy and hid behind a small treasurechest8 in the fishbowl. Jimmy laughed.

“Are you hiding？ Don’t be afraid.”He turned the fishbowl around in hishands so he could see the fish.“Foundyou！ ”Golda looked at Jimmy again.Then she swam to the other side of thetreasure chest as fast as possible.

“Well， I guess you are here，”saidJimmy.“Comeout，comeout，whereveryouare！ ”He slowly turned the fishbowl againandfoundGolda.“You’re here now！ ”

This time Jimmy turned the fishbowland ducked9 his head down low， sothe treasure chest was between him andGolda. He waited.

Soon Golda swam around to Jimmy’sside of the fish bowl. “Now you foundme，”Jimmy said. “I didn’t know a fishcould be so much fun！ ”

“哇！我给她起名叫戈尔达吧。”吉米说。金鱼看着吉米，然后躲到鱼缸里的一个小宝箱后面。吉米笑了。
