while 的常见用法

while 既可以作连词，也可以作名词，还可以用在固定搭配的短语中。

1.while 作连词时，表示 “在……的时候；与……同时”。

注意，while 可以放在句首使用，也可以在句中使用。

例：While we were sleeping， it snowed！ = It snowed while we were sleeping！

Enola： Thank you. Might I see her bedroom？

Bessie： Ours， you mean？ You’re standing in it. We’re lucky. Most girls here are five to a room.

Enola： What does she look like， Sarah？

Enola： Red hair？ So， Bessie， what was Sarah wearing the day she disappeared？
