As police officers， we must realize that our duties are closely related to the status quo of society. Therefore， we’ve got to be well-informed of society， the people， the country and the world. As the saying goes“cultivate a sense of family and country， and develop remarkable capabilities”— we need to understand the situation of the community and the will of people， because these will be helpful to the execution of our duties. Cultivating a global vision and a passion for serving society and the people at all times is also crucial in becoming a pillar of excellence who can take up important responsibilities and contribute to the prosperity and stability of the country.

To carry out the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress， the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Science and Technology have jointly deployed a three-year program to promote science and technology to develop the police， build a system of public security forces with strategic technology， and improve the echelon cultivation system of science and technology talents. As an important position for talent training， public security colleges and universities must respond positively to this strategic call and increase efforts to cultivate composite and application-oriented intelligent police talents.
