Yu Gong Removed the Mountains 愚公移山

Long long ago， there were two high mountains that blocked the way for the villagers to go out. One of the villagers was an old man named Yu Gong. He was almost 90 years old， but he was still very strong in spirit.

One day， Yu Gong gathered his family and said， “Let’s work together to remove these mountains.” Everyone agreed， even though it seemed like a huge job. Another day， a man passed by and laughed at Yu Gong， but he didn’t give up.

Day after day， Yu Gong and his family worked hard together. The Jade Emperor（玉帝） saw how determined（坚定的） Yu Gong was and sent two gods to help them remove the mountains！

This story teaches us that with determination（决心）， we can achieve anything， no matter how difficult it seems.
