Black hole has its sound， too？ What doesblack hole sound like？ Both “creepy” and“beautiful” ， according to people who’ve listenedto an audio clip posted by NASA.

“The idea that there is no sound inspace is actually a misconception，” NASAexplained. “While most of space is avacuum， with no medium for sound waves totravel through， a galaxy cluster has largeamounts of gas that envelop the hundredsor even thousands of galaxies within it，providing a medium for the sound waves totravel.”

When t h e s o u n d waves w e r ediscovered， after 53 hours of observation，researchers with NASA’s Chandra X-RayObservatory discovered that pressurewaves sent out by black hole causedripples in the cluster’s hot gas that could betranslated into a note.
