It’s easy to forget things when you are busy, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating2. Don’t worry. There are lots of things you can do to improve your memory.
Keep a daily to-do list. Keep a small notepad and you can write down tasks thatneed to be done. If you are in the middle of something important and get interrupted3, writing down what you need to do later will help you remember.
If you have so much going on and you’re forgetting things, just do what you reallycare about. If you clear those unnecessary things from your life, you’ll have morespace in your mind to remember things more important to you.
Keep a calendar4 on your cellphone or in your bag so you can update5 it as you go.
Write a note and place it where you always look, such as near your computer screen6, on the refrigerator, or on your bathroom mirror7.
Set alarms on your cellphone, watch, or another things to remind8 you of importantthings.
Get into the habits of helping you remember things. Try picking something youalready do every day as your reminder. For example, let’s say you pick out yourshoes for the next day before you go to bed. Use this as a cue9 to put your homeworkinto your schoolbag.
You may put something off because it will take a long time, isn’t fun, makesyou worried, or not important. At last, you forget it. Find out what you keep on “forgetting”because of procrastination10. When you understand what starts procrastination,it will be less possible for you to forget about them.
