作者简介： 谢尔·希尔弗斯坦（Shel Silverstein，1930-1999），诗人、插画家、剧作家、作曲家、乡村歌手．20世纪伟大的绘本作家。他从来学过绘画，却以绘本震惊、感动了世界。1963年，第一本绘本《一只会开枪的狮子》一经问世，立刻引起巨大轰动，获得无数好评。随后，《爱心树》隆重出版，迅速风靡，销售超过550万册，影响了一代又一代的读者，成为绘本世界的永恒典范，也奠定了谢尔伟大绘本作家的崇高地位。
