All of the materials used areflame⁃resistant， and the grandpa consultedwith a local fire department to ensure it isperfectly safe for his grandson to use.

Obviously， no two autistic people’s ex⁃periences or needs are the same， but thisgrandpa made sure what he built was justright for his grandson.

“Mostly it was adding things to makemy daughter’s and son⁃in⁃law’s experienceof meeting his needs as much easier as Ican with this tool，”he wrote in a comment.“That’s all it really is—a tool to make hislife easier and more peaceful.”
