My Father and My Dream 父亲和我的梦想

The formation made up of helicopters which looked like a “70” character was slowly flying over Tian’anmen Square during the military parade. It looked so powerful in the clear blue sky. Looking at the dark green helicopters designed by my father， I felt deeply moved. Then and there， a wave of respect came naturally. The aviation（ 航空）industry of China cannot boom without those people who have worked so hard for it. My father is one of those designers.

To strengthen the army with power and serve the country with science and technology（ 动力强军，航空报国 ） is the mission of my father and his team. Their daily work means high technology challenges. He always studies on hundreds of documents day and night. In my memory， he once spent several months testing theirproduct again and again in order to solve some problems. After plenty of data was collected and analyzed， improvement were applied in the product times and times. He， along with other designers and engineers， finally succeeded after thousands of failures.

Working for the development of China’s aviation， they sacrificed a lot. From the smiles on their faces， I realized the great spirit of their dedication， devotion and never giving up. As a result， the dream of being a person like my father took root in my heart. Under the influence of my father， I show great interest in putting up model planes. Though he always works overtime， and leaves us little time for the mutual models， he helps me finish the plane models whenever he’s free.

Being a father means responsibility， and being a member of China’s aviation means much more. In the hope of making contributions to our country like my father， I’ve made up my mind to study hard and explore actively， for my father， for China’s aviation， and for the bright future of our motherland！
