公安部举行“长城纪念章”首次集体颁授仪式

2022年11月29日，公安部在全球公共安全合作论坛（连云港）首届大会开幕式上，举行了“长城纪念章”首次集体颁授仪式，为20位来自亚洲、欧洲、非洲、美洲有关国家的执法安全部门官员颁授了金质、银质“长城纪念章”。

公安部历来高度重视并积极推进与各国执法部门务实合作，许多国家执法警务人员在与中方开展反恐、禁毒、打击跨国犯罪、追逃追赃等国际警务合作中作出了重要贡献。为诚挚感谢外国执法警务人员等国际友人所作贡献，进一步巩固友谊、增进团结，参照国际通行做法，经批准，公安部设立了“长城纪念章”。“长城纪念章”分为金质、银质两级，为涉外荣誉性纪念。

此次获得“长城纪念章”的国际友人中，有坚定推进双边执法合作、引领合作关系发展的执法部门领导人，有联手打击恐怖极端势力的安全部门负责人，也有重拳整治跨国有组织犯罪的警务人员和全力解救被绑架中国公民的一线指挥官……他们是中外警务合作的杰出代表，更为各国执法部门间相互合作提供了榜样和示范。纪念章获得者普遍表示，“长城纪念章”代表着两国执法部门的深厚友谊和合作硕果，具有特殊重要意义。愿与中方一道不断巩固并扩大合作成果，共同维护本国和地区安全稳定。

公安部国际合作局负责人表示，将以此次颁授仪式为契机，继续高举合作创新法治共赢旗帜，进一步深化与各国执法部门专业高效友好合作，携手应对全球公共安全新挑战。

The Ministry of Public Security Holds the First Collective Presentation Ceremony of the Great Wall Commemorative Medal

On November 29， 2022， the Ministry of Public Security of China held the first collective presentation ceremony of the Great Wall Commemorative Medal at the Opening Ceremony of the First Conference of Global Public Security Cooperation Forum （Lianyungang） to present the gold and silver Great Wall Commemorative Medals to 20 law enforcement and security officers from Asian， European， African and American countries.

The Ministry of Public Security of China has always attached great importance to and actively promoted the pragmatic cooperation with law enforcement departments of various countries. Law enforcement police officers of many countries have made remarkable contributions to international police cooperation with China in counter-terrorism， anti-drug， combating transnational crimes， fugitive repatriation and asset recovery. To extend the sincere thanks to foreign law enforcement police officers and other international friends for their contributions， further consolidate the friendship and enhance unity， the Ministry of Public Security of China has set up the Great Wall Commemorative Medal upon approval with reference to international practices. The Great Wall Commemorative Medal， awarded for foreign winners with remarkable achievements， comprises two levels： gold and silver.

Among the international friends winning the Great Wall Commemorative Medal， there are leaders of law enforcement departments who firmly promote bilateral law enforcement cooperation and lead the development of cooperative relations， heads of security departments who jointly fight against terrorist and extremist forces， police officers who crack down on transnational organized crimes， and front-line commanders who spare no effort to rescue kidnapped Chinese citizens. They all are  outstanding representatives of police cooperation between China and foreign countries who set examples and demonstration for mutual cooperation between law enforcement departments of global countries. Medal winners noted that the Great Wall Commemorative Medal represents the profound friendship and fruitful cooperation between the law enforcement departments of the two countries， bearing special significance. They also highlighted that they are willing to work with China to continuously consolidate and expand the achievements of cooperation and jointly safeguard the national and regional security and stability.

The principal of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China noted that this presentation ceremony is an opportunity to further deepen the professional， efficient and friendly cooperation with the law enforcement departments of global countries and co-tackle the new challenges in global public security while continuously holding high the banner of cooperation， innovation， rule of law and win-win results.
