Wang Xiaohong Meets with Interpol Official
BEIJING， April 18 （Xinhua） -- Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong met with Secretary-General of the International Criminal Police Organization （Interpol） Jürgen Stock in Beijing on Tuesday.
Wang said that China is willing to work with Interpol to promote the implementation of the Global Security Initiative and make greater contributions to maintaining global security and development.
China highly appreciates Interpol's firm support for the one-China principle， Wang said， adding that China is willing to continuously deepen practical bilateral cooperation in combating transnational crimes and in other fields.
Stock thanked China for its support of Interpol and expressed the willingness to continuously strengthen pragmatic cooperation between the two sides in various fields.

王小洪介绍了中共二十大和中国全国两会情况。他表示，中方愿同埃塞方一道，积极探索实践习近平主席提出的全球安全倡议，加强人员交往和合作机制建设，深化在“一带一路”安保和打击跨国犯罪、执法能力建设等方面的务实合作，更好造福两国人民。
德梅拉什表示，埃塞高度重视对华友好合作，愿不断加强双方执法安全合作，进一步推动两国关系向前发展。
Wang Xiaohong Meets Ethiopian Counterpart
BEIJING， April 13 （Xinhua） -- Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong met with Demelash Gebremicheal， commissioner general of Ethiopia's Federal Police Commission， in Beijing on Thursday.
Wang briefed Gebremicheal on the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and this year's "two sessions".
China is ready to work with Ethiopia to actively implement the China-proposed Global Security Initiative， and to strengthen personnel exchanges and the building of cooperation mechanism， Wang said.
China will deepen pragmatic cooperation with Ethiopia to ensure the security of Belt and Road cooperation， combat transnational crime and build law enforcement capacities， in order to bring more benefits to the people of the two countries， he added.
Demelash said Ethiopia attaches great importance to friendly cooperation with China and is looking forward to strengthening the two countries' law enforcement and security partnership and pushing forward bilateral relations.

王小洪表示，中方愿与各方共同落实好习近平主席提出的全球安全倡议，依托上合组织安秘会机制，深化执法安全领域务实合作，携手为各国经济复苏、社会稳定营造良好的安全环境。一是坚持安危与共，防范化解外部干涉风险，支持各国维护国家主权、领土完整等核心利益和自主选择的发展道路，切实维护各国政权安全和制度安全。二是坚持利益共融，努力以对话弥合分歧、以合作化解争端，合力构建均衡、有效、可持续的地区安全新架构。三是坚持综合施策，坚决遏制打击“三股势力”。四是坚持步调协同，完善公安内务部门打击跨国犯罪合作机制，有力打击电信网络诈骗、网络赌博和毒品制贩等跨国犯罪。五是坚持良性互动，助推阿富汗稳定架构。
China Calls on SCO Members to Deepen Cooperation on Law Enforcement， Security
BEIJING， March 29 （Xinhua） -- Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong on Wednesday called on Shanghai Cooperation Organization （SCO） member states to deepen pragmatic cooperation in the fields of law enforcement and security， and jointly create a sound security environment for the economic recovery and social stability of all countries.
Wang made the remarks when attending the 18th Meeting of the Security Council Secretaries of the SCO Member States via video link. He noted that China is willing to work with all parties to implement the Global Security Initiative.
He called for all countries to defuse the risks of external interference and safeguard their core interests， such as national sovereignty， territorial integrity and independently choosing development paths.
It is important to bridge differences through dialogue and resolve disputes through cooperation， Wang said， stressing that joint efforts are needed to foster a new regional security structure that is balanced， effective and sustainable.
He called on all parties to resolutely contain and crack down on the three forces of terrorism， separatism and extremism， and strengthen cooperation to combat transnational crime， such as telecom and internet fraud， online gambling， and drug trafficking.
He also called on all parties to continue to engage in positive interactions to promote stable structure in Afghanistan.
